Run Your Very Best 3-Day Running Clinic
October 12, 2012 - October 14, 2012Maui Campus, EdVenture - Laulima Building
This 3 day workshop will include a full video analysis of your running technique and set the stage for continued improvement. This will help you become injury resistant, get you started right if you are new to the sport, or increase your efficiency for both speed and endurance. This workshop is designed for all runners from middle distance to ultra distance.
Learn how to run or improve your performance in a 5K, 10K, ½ Marathon, Marathon, or Ultra Distance running and racing. This camp will supply the tools and knowledge to succeed.
If you have been dealing with nagging aches and pains associated with running, or just interested in learning how to avoid injury, the Running Camp offers an innovative approach to managing running injuries.
If you’re a fitness runner ready to take your running to the next level, this camp can help determine what has held you back and what it will take to improve. We’ll address questions like: How much mileage is enough? How fast is fast enough? How to sequence workouts in order to optimize recovery? How to peak and taper before races?
Other topics - How to self-determine your training level and set realistic goals for distance and speed, self healing techniques, solid nutritional support, footwear & equipment, selecting and scheduling cross training activities wisely, how to connect to your inner motivation, and how to enhance the meditative aspects of running.
