Join us for a conversation about the making of Jake Shimabukuro: Life on Four Strings, a documentary about local ukuele virtuoso Jake Shimabukuro that will air nationally on PBS in early 2013. The discussion tracks the nuts and bolts process of making this film, which is a unique mainland/Hawaii partnership between the Center for Asian American Media, Pacific Islanders in Communications, Paliku Documentary Films, PBS Hawaii and acclaimed filmmaker Tadashi Nakamura.
