Public Lecture on Impact Investing & the Green Economy

Net Impact, a graduate business student sustainability group, will host a public lecture on Impact Investing & the Green Economy, Friday, October 26th at 5:00pm, in Shidler A-101

Come learn about what businesses, nonprofits and investors are doing locally (and nationally) to advance a sustainable economic worldview that promotes environmental and social well-being and financial prosperity simultaneously.

Guest speakers include:

Michael Kramer, Managing Partner, Director of Social Research, and Investment Advisor for Natural Investments, a certified B Corp and national portfolio management firm that has been at the forefront of socially responsible investment for over 20 years.

Chenoa Farnsworth, Founder of HI Impact, an education and community building organization with a mission to increase awareness and activity in the field of impact investing, and Managing Director and Founding member of Hawaii Angels, Hawaii's only angel investing firm.

Scott Cooney, professor of sustainability at the Shidler College of Business and principal of GBO Group (a sustainability strategy consulting group), will also present his sustainability themed board game, GBO Hawaii. Games will be available for sale at the event.

Networking, food and drink to follow the lecture.
