Constructing A New Year's Kadomatsu

Bring in the New Year by making your very own Kadomatsu. Learn a brief history of why the Japanese made Kadomatsu for the New Year and the tradition it has brought to Hawaii. You will be able to construct a Kadomatsu using materials found in your backyard and a few items found in stores locally. All materials will be provided, and by the end of the class, you will have 2 finished Kadomatsu to take home.
