Expanding Diversity in Biology Discussion: Dr. Scott Santos

Dr. Scott Santos will lead a discussion about improving diversity at the undergraduate, graduate, and faculty levels in Biology.

Dr. Santos is of Hispanic ancestry, grew up on Maui, attended both KCC and UH Manoa and is now an associate professor at Auburn University. He is a successful biologist working on the population genetics of endemic shrimp in the unique Hawaiian anchialine ponds. Dr. Santos will also be presenting the Biology Department seminar on Wednesday, April 3.
