Learn how to build a rain garden that will help recharge our precious island aquifer and keep your garden green! By installing a simple rain garden in your own yard you can create a system that helps to prevent the loss of storm run-off, and makes your garden more attractive and functional at the same time. In this morning workshop, Jolie will describe the benefits of creating a rain garden system, and the design and installation process. Class will include some hands-on experience in site analysis and design of a rain garden, so come ready to design, create, and m ālama our `āina! Class size limited, preregistration required.
