ARCS Scholar Symposium

The 12 Manoa graduate students selected to receive 2013 ARCS Foundation Scholar Awards will present their research in an open public forum. Award recipients include doctoral candidates in astronomy, conservation, computer science, engineering, mathematics, medicine, nursing, physics, tropical agriculture and volcanology.

ARCS (Achievement Rewards for College Scientists) Foundation Honolulu Chapter is a non-profit organization working to advance science in America by rewarding outstanding graduate students in science, health and engineering fields with unrestricted cash awards.

The 2013 awards will be presented, along with the Scholar of the Year and Scientist of the Year awards, at the ARCS Scholar Awards Banquet Monday, May 7 at the Outrigger Canoe Club.
