Divest UH

October 3, 2:00pm - 3:00pm
Mānoa Campus, Saunders 617

You're invited to attend a meeting organized by representatives from GSO, ASUH, and Sustainable UH to plan a campaign to divest UH. The university's endowment is a multi-million dollar fund that the school uses to generate reliable income. Although UH has taken steps to become more sustainable, a portion of UH's multi-million dollar endowment is invested in private oil and gas. If UH is going to be a world leader in sustainability, as many think it can and should be, then UH needs to "put its money where its mouth is."
