Loving Jamaica: An Evening of Poetry, Prose & Film with Esther Figueroa

Esther Figueroa, PhD and Fall 2013 Visiting Distinguished Writer in the UHM Department of English, will give the first-ever reading from her forthcoming environmental novel, Limbo (Arcade, 2014) and the first screening outside Jamaica of her film Cockpit Country Is Our Home. She will also read her own poetry and that of others.

The event is free of charge and open to the public.
