Fourth Annual APIL Gala Live and Silent Auction

Advocates for Public Interest Law (APIL), a student organization at the University of Hawaiʻi at Manoa's William S. Richardson School of Law, is proud to announce its Fourth Annual APIL Gala Live and Silent Auction, scheduled for Friday, March 14, 2014, 5:30 p.m. – 9:00 p.m., at the Laniakea YWCA (1040 Richards Street, Honolulu, HI 96813).

All proceeds go towards summer grants for law students doing pro bono work for nonprofit public interest law firms and agencies. APIL is dedicated to promoting student involvement with traditionally underserved populations.

Since 1985, APIL has awarded 133 summer grants, providing 40,000 “billable hours” to approximately 30 nonprofit organizations, working in support of immigrants and Native Hawaiians, the poor and the homeless, and victims of elder abuse, domestic abuse, and sex trafficking, among others.


Ticket Information
$20 for students and $30 for community members. Keiki 8 years old and under get in for free.
