New Songs at UH West Oʻahuʻs "Summer Music Works" Hōʻike

July 3, 7:00pm - 9:00pm
West Oʻahu Campus, Campus Center West 225

Students from this year's Summer Music Works program (MUS 208 "Introduction to Songwriting") present their new songs on Thursday, July 3 at 7:00pm in Room C225. Taught by Dr. Jon Magnussen and Mr. Elliot Maker (Waiʻanae High School), the course breaks down the basics of music and helps students write and record their original music. Along the way, students learn about their college options in the UH System, how to be successful in college, and how college can help them be successful in life.

The UHWO 'ohana and community are invited to hear these inspiring new songs and the stories behind them.
