A Day in the Life of a Smart, Green Campus

The presentation covers an overview of sustainability trends and details of the Empire State Building retrofit project which will deliver 38% energy savings and save $4.4M per year. It will then continue with a story of “a day in the life of a smart, green campus” which demonstrates the benefits that the integration of energy efficiency and renewable energy technologies can bring to college campuses in the near future. The presentation concludes with case studies of major sustainability projects in Hawaii which leverage both energy efficiency and renewable energy technology.
