UH Wind Ensemble & UH Symphony Band

Jeffrey Boeckman and David Blon, conductors.

The UH Wind Ensemble, Jeffrey Boeckman, conductor, will perform Shostakovich’s Festive Overture, Holst’s Hammersmith, Weill’s Threepennymusik, and Ian Dicke’s Song of the Telegraph (composer Ian Dicke will be in residence).

The UH Symphony Band, David Blon, conductor, will perform Windsprints by Richard Saucedo, English Dances: Set I, Op. 27 by Malcolm Arnold (arr. Maurice Johnstone), O Magnum Mysterium by Morten Lauridsen, King Cotton by John Phillip Sousa (Daryl Agena, guest conductor), and With Heart and Voice by David R. Gillingham.
