A free book signing/reception (5:00 p.m.) with and public lecture (6:00 p.m.) by Christopher Newfield. "Have We Wrecked Public Universities? If So, How Do We Fix Them?" Newfield will speak about his new book on the post-2008 struggles of public universities to rebuild their social missions, titled "The Great Mistake: How We Wrecked Public Universities and How We Can Fix Them."
