Department of Physics & Astronomy Open House

The annual Department of Physics and Astronomy open house in Watanabe Hall is free and open to the public.

This year’s event will include a variety of lectures and open lab tours covering neutrinos, quantum mechanics, dark matter, anti-matter and the Free electron laser. The hands-on demos will allow attendees to experiment with angular momentum and center of gravity; operate a hover craft; check out polarized light effects; and experience the power of electromagnets, among other fun activities.
