"Narratives by Holocaust Escapees: Ferrara, Italy"

Prof Luciano Minerbi, U H Manoa Urban and Regional Planning, will discuss the nexus of memories, narratives, poetry and urban planning in Ferrara, Italy, before, during and after the Holocaust. Dr. Minerbi will turn to personal and family histories, as well as the writings of Croce, Augustine and Bergson to explore the meanings of experience and how those meanings are embodied in memory and urban design. Free and Open to the Public.
