Mr Hussein Goes to Baghdad: Reagan's Decision to Share Intelligence with Iraq

Prof. Bryan R. Gibson will talk about President Reagan's decision to share intelligence with Iraq. The paper considers a secret mission of a CIA operative to Baghdad in 1982 to provide Iraq with intelligence on Iranian troop movements at the height of the Iran-Iraq War. Dr. Gibson is Assistant Professor of History in the Department of History and International Studies at Hawaii Pacific University.
