GIS Skills for Hawaii (Using ArcGIS Pro)
May 22, 3:00pm - 3:00pmHonolulu Campus, 874 Dillingham Blvd
You may not realize it, but you benefit from the use of geographic information system (GIS) software every day.
This course uses Web-based materials and in-class exercises to introduce the fundamental concepts of GIS and the major functionality contained in ArcGIS software from ESRI.
It also covers how to download GIS data from the City and County of Honolulu and the State of Hawai‘i and how to combine that data with your own GIS data.
By the end of the course, you should feel comfortable working with ArcGIS 10 software on your own, and we hope you will join the community of people in Hawai‘i using GIS to solve everyday problems.
