Introduction to Zotero
This workshop will introduce Zotero, a free, easy-to-use tool for collecting, organizing, and citing your research sources.
Presented by Brian Richardson Hamilton Library, Business, Humanities and Social Sciences Reference Note: the library is closed at the time of the session, so the workshop will be held at St. John Plant Science Lab Room 11 (ground floor, across Maile Way from the library)
Topics will include:
- Adding references and PDFs to a Zotero library - Organizing and managing references using collections - Creating Notes - Inserting citations and creating a bibliography in Microsoft Word or Google Docs
Participants must sign up for a Zotero account and install the Zotero stand-alone program and browser connector on their computers prior to the workshop (www.zotero.org).
Technical help installing Zotero will be available from 5:00 to 5:30 p.m. Workshop is from 5:30 to 7 p.m.
Bring your own computer.
Limited computers are available if necessary.
