Integrating Emerging Technology into Disaster Management

Presenters: Mr. Michael Vorce. President/Owner of SiteTour 360. SiteTour360 is 360 imagery collection and visualization company that has been assisting NDPTC in the integration of 360 imaging into courses disaster damage assessment and recovery planning. Dr. David Roueche. Assistant Professor of Structural Engineering, Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering, Auburn University. Dr. Roueche's research focuses on extreme wind loads on low-rise buildings, post-disaster field investigations, performance-based wind engineering, wind resistance of light wood-frame structures, and surge and flood load modeling. He is an Associate Director of the NSF StEER Network program which investigates the performance of buildings and other infrastructure affected by disasters.
