Natural Dyes with Aunty Ngahiraka

Learn how to use essential oils for stress relief, produce homemade soap using māla herbs, make medicinal honey and ʻōlena lemonade, or dye natural fabric pieces at the Decolonial Medicine/Self-Care Workshops on the third Wednesdays of every month throughout the spring 2017 semester.

Bring smaller pieces of natural fiber fabric (100% linen, 100% cotton) to dye with plant material. Think tea towels, tank tops, etc. *This workshop is limited to 8 participants and will run from approx. 9:30a-4:30p. Please only sign up if you’re able to stay for the entire time.
