Looking to get better connected to the UH Mānoa campus community, hone your people skills, and learn to lead in the process?

Co-curricular Activities, Programs and Services (CAPS) offers you choices:

  • get active in one of the six Chartered Student Organizations (CSOs)
  • join one of the more than 150 Registered Independent Organizations (RIOs) -- or form one of your own
  • serve incoming students by becoming a member of the New Student Programs staff
  • earn college credit through formal study of leadership in introductory and upper division level courses
  • arrange for one-on-one personal consultations on leadership style, leadership goals, and any concerns you may have with your organization
  • develop a training program, workshop, or conference with the help of CAPS Leadership Development staff for your group or organization
  • strengthen your group’s or organization’s team interaction, group development, interpersonal relationships, and members' competence and self-confidence by scheduling a Teams Course
  • exercise and soothe body and spirit through participation in intramural sports and Leisure Center activities
  • work as a student employee in Campus Center.
