In addition to promoting your event
through our Employer Recruitment Schedule,
there are other venues for you
to advertise your organization and on-campus
events. The UHM newspaper, Ka Leo O Hawai’i -
http://www.kaleo.org/
is
circulated daily during the academic year. The Ka Leo can be used to
inform
students of upcoming recruitment visits, informational meetings,
and participation
in career day events. For more information on
advertising with the Ka Leo,
please call their Advertising Department at
(808) 956-8238.
Meeting with
Faculty
In addition
to meeting with students and alumni, arrangements can be made for you to
meet with UHM Faculty. Many employers host luncheon meetings as part of
their recruiting efforts. Career Services will contact faculty/staff
members and coordinate these meetings for you.
Employer
Literature
Our Library
holds employer publications and videotapes from organizations around the
globe, employment directories, career magazines and hundreds of job
listings. Salary information, job market trends and other reference
information are also available. Employers are encouraged to provide career
recruitment literature, annual reports and/or website information.
