Center Programs - 2010 Classes Outdoor Recreation
Set sail off the beautiful shores of Waikiki. Join Captain Jon Jepson and crew aboard Makani, a premier state of the art cruising catamaran, and prepare yourself for a spectacular whale watching experience, surround yourself with the picturesque backdrop of Waikiki, and enjoy a high sea experience. Makani sets sail three times a day for a two hour sail at 9:00am, 1:00pm. and 5:00 pm. Whales can be seen between December and April. Dolphins can be seen year around. The Leisure Center is now working with Makani, offering students an affordable yachting experience. Cost: There is $ 5.00 reservation Fee to be paid at the Leisure Center.
