HONOLULU — UH Mānoa students and faculty from all over the world will come together for International Night 2005, a cultural extravaganza featuring ethnic performances and cultural booths from more than 20 countries. The event will be held from 6:30 — 9 p.m. on March 11, 2005 at the UH Mānoa Campus Center Ballroom. It is free and open to the public.

This year‘s theme, "Divided by Oceans, United by Heart," illustrates how the world came together to help with the recent tragedy in Southeast Asia. Throughout the evening‘s activities, organizers hope to convey the message, "unity through diversity," by appreciating and respecting different cultures. The event will be dedicated in honor of the tsunami victims.

International Night 2005 is sponsored by UH Mānoa International Student Association, International Student Services and Campus Center Activity Council. For more information, call 255-5975.
