There will be an informational meeting this coming Monday, October 19, for anyone interested in applying to the JET Program. The meeting will be held in Campus Center rooms 307-308 from 12:00 – 1:00 pm. If you cannot make it to this meeting but are still interested in applying, there is information on their website. [...] The Center for Japanese Studies is sponsoring two groups of film showings at this year’s Hawaii International Film Festival. A TRIBUTE TO MADAME KAWAKITA (co-sponsored by UH’s National Resource Center-East Asia). The screenings of these four films are free to the public.
