The William S. Richardson School of Law sent several signboards to their colleagues at Tohoku University’s Law School with messages of encouragement follow the destructive earthquake on March 11. Since then, the signboards have been on display in the Tohoku University Law Library. Dean Noriko Mizuno of the Tohoku University School of Law recently wrote that the signboards helped raise everyone’s spirits during this time of crisis. It has been three months since the earthquake struck Japan, and it is important that we all remember the ongoing relief efforts in Tohoku and across Japan.
