An exhibition featuring historical images of karate in prewar Hawai‘i from the collection of the Hawaii Karate Museum.

Dates: July 1, 2009 to August 28, 2009
An exhibition examining the history of Karate in Hawai’i will open at UHM’s Hamilton Library on 1 July. The exhibition will be complemented by two other events introducing the martial art: a practical demonstration of the art of Karate and a talk discussing its main features. All the events are free and open to the public.
