CJS is excited to announce several upcoming seminars during the fall 2011 semester. All seminars are held in the Tokioka Room unless indicated. We are hoping to add a few more speakers as well and will update the list accordingly.
Aug. 29 (Monday) 3 pm talk by Prof. Motoshige Itoh, University of Tokyo. Talk will be in the CKS auditorium from 3 pm to 4:15 pm. A discussion will follow from 4:30 to 5:30 pm in the Tokioka Room which will be for graduate students only with refreshments.
Sept. 2 (Friday) 4:30 pm to 6:00 pm Pecha Kucha night in the Tokioka Room NOTE THIS EVENT STARTS LATER.
Sept. 23 (Friday) 3 pm-4:30 pm Dr. William Ridgeway, his translation of Nowaki.
Oct. 7 (Friday) 3 pm talk by Prof. Patricia Steinhoff. Talk will be in the CKS auditorium from 3 pm to 4:15 pm. Refreshments will be served in the Tokioka Room right after the talk.
Oct. 25 (Tuesday) 3 pm talk by Prof. Yumiko Tateyama – title to be announced shortly.
