It’s coming November 15th!

WikiSlideshowLogoThe Center for Japanese Studies is pleased to announce Wiki Slideshows on Japan Powered by PechaKucha coming November 15 at 5:30pm in the Tokioka Room (Moore Hall 319). Our Wiki Slideshows will follow the PechaKucha format, which is a presentation style where a short lecture is given alongside 20 PowerPoint slides that are shown for 20 seconds each. The talks are intended to strike a balance between work and play. This is a popular event where CJS graduate students and faculty are able to relate their Japan-related research or passion in a relaxed and unintimidating atmosphere.  The community is welcome too.

We have six individuals giving talks this semester: Dr. Robert Huey, Professor of Japanese Literature; Dr. Mark Levin, Professor of Law;  Mr. Tomoki Kimura, MA Student in Japanese Literature; Mr. David Nguyen, PhD Student in Urban and Regional Planning; and Mr. James Utley, MA Student in History.
