Welcome to the Community Health & Service Program (CHS) at the John A. Burns School of Medicine.

The major goal of CHS is to explore methods for promoting health and improving the quality of life for patients by working with a community organization. The organizations participating in CHS are fulfilling a health need of our community and your participation has direct benefits to their clients.

We look forward to working with you during the next 11 months. Please take the time to read the Community Health and Service handbook. We hope you will enjoy this experience. At the mid-way point and at the end of each MD block you will be given an opportunity to give us feedback on your experience. However, do not hestitate to contact us before then if you have any questions or concerns.
