STUDENT RESEARCH PROJECT (BIOM 594) |
|
The Student Research Project is designed to provide a brief overview of research principles as they apply to medicine and to provide an opportunity for a research experience for first year medical students (MS1). Nine weeks between Units 3 and 4 are set aside for completion of a short research experience. Evaluation is based on an assessment of student performance by a research mentor. If your research is accepted for presenation at a national meeting, the Dean's Travel Fund can help with expenses. Submit the completed form to the Office of Student Affairs. (click here for form). To view the abstracts from previous year's projects, click on the "Class of" link on the right. |
