Doctoral Programs
Application Materials and Procedures
Applicants must meet the Graduate Division requirements and those of the respective doctoral program to which they are applying:

Graduate Division Requirements
Students must submit the following to fulfill Graduate Division requirements:
- Graduate Admissions Application Form and appropriate fee. Applications may be completed online at the Graduate Division web site or by calling (808) 956-7541 to request materials. Completed applications are screened by the Graduate Division Office before being forwarded to the respective departments.
- One official transcript from each postsecondary institution attended, sent directly from the institution to the Graduate Division.
- Official Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) score report with exam scores of at least 600 from applicants from foreign countries where English is not the dominant language, regardless of degree completion from English-speaking countries.
- Financial status verification for foreign students.
