While we tailor our process to meet your project’s particular needs, we generally follow this sequence:
PROJECT KICKOFF MEETING
Our instructional designers and multimedia specialists meet with clients, subject matter experts and stakeholders to set parameters, create a preliminary style guide and set expectations.
ANALYSIS PHASE
During this phase, our instructional designers work with designated subject matter experts to establish learning objectives, analyze audience demographics and needs then create a preliminary course outline. Given your expertise and content, we then suggest teaching strategies and learning activities to effectively leverage technology for distance delivery.
DESIGN
Our multimedia specialists and instructional designers create the look and feel and develop a prototype, for client review. We refine the prototype based upon client and peer review. Subject matter experts typically provide most course content, while our instruction designers can identify and present additional online resources for review.
DEVELOPMENT & IMPLEMENTATION
During this phase, our team builds the course including any custom multimedia elements based on the prototype and client feedback. Typically, we build courses in stages, working closely with subject matter experts and instructors. We develop and test within the specified delivery system, such as a learning management system, content management system or website. We continue to refine the course throughout this process.
LAUNCH & EVALUATION
We consult with instructors as they launch the course, providing advice and technical support as needed. Additional on-going evaluation can be provided based on your goals and needs.
