INSTRUCTIONAL DESIGN & CONSULTING
Instructional design is at the heart of what we do. Simply put, we listen to what you want to teach others to do, and work with you to map out an instructional path to achieve your goals effectively. CONSULTING FOR UH PROJECTS
We can provide consultation on almost any area of academic technology integration; including distance, face-to-face, and hybrid (incorporating online and face-to-face components) deliveries. For UH clients, we can also assist in the financial planning of distance programs. Most distance programs can recoup their investment in design and consulting services, and frequently provide net gains on future offerings. Because we’re experts with Laulima, we can make sure your courses look great inside OR outside the UH course management system.
COURSE DESIGN, DEVELOPMENT & IMPLEMENTATION
Our instructional designers provide advice on designing and delivering online, face-to-face, or hybrid learning, but our services do not stop there. We can also develop and build the course for you. From your stated goals, we perform analysis, design, development, implementation and evaluation in a course management system or website.

BB COLLABORATE LICENSING FOR UH
Make online courses more interactive with synchronous classes in an online virtual classroom. BB Collaborate (formerly Elluminate) is a powerful web conferencing tool that allows you to hold classes, meetings and webinars online. Through our relationship with BlackBoard Inc., we can offer a unique package to UH entities that includes local training and tech support. UH campuses with BB Collaborate access through DCDC include UH-Mānoa, UH-West Oahu, Kapiolani Community College, and Honolulu Community College.
