The Educational Foundations is an interdisciplinary group of scholars who are committed to teaching, research, and the application of research to the field of education.

  • Hunter McEwan , Ph.D. —Professor, Chair of the Dept. of Educational Foundations at UHM and Graduate Chair. He is also editor of (Educational Perspectives), the Journal of the College of Education, University of Hawai‘i at Manoa. Dr. McEwan’s research interests include curriculum theory, instructional theory, philosophy of education.
