Master of Education
The Department Master’s program provides coursework in a common body of core knowledge:
- History of Education
- Philosophy of Education
- Social and Cultural Foundations of Education
- Comparative/International Education
Beyond minimal Graduate Division, College of Education, and EF departmental requirements, considerable flexibility exists for individualizing programs of study. Further coursework and research is planned through consultation with faculty and in accordance with students’ interests and/or research plans. Generally, additional coursework in Educational Foundations is augmented through courses in other College of Education graduate fields, or through courses offered by other departments across campus.
