Students:
The TK20 system allows you to easily create online portfolios, monitor your program progress, and keep track of course work and field experience details. You can easily create multiple portfolios that are both web-based and secure. You can fill out forms, such as instructor evaluations, when they are assigned. With the templates provided by your department, you will be able to quickly and simply build an electronic record of your work for COE requirements.

Faculty:
TK20 provides a complete database at your fingertips. TK20 will not only let you assess students’ portfolios and assignments, but you can manage your classes, advise students and even place students for field experiences. In the advising section you can see what classes your advisee needs to take and check to see if they have met checkpoints required for program advancement. In the field placement area, field coordinators can place students into internships or student teaching assignments. You can choose the cooperating teacher and sight for the field experienced. All data is saved and can be used to generate reports for accrediting bodies including NCATE.

Chalk & Wire (system preceding TK20)
If you previously subscribed to Chalk & Wire, you have been grandfathered into the TK20 system—no additional fee is required. If your original Chalk & Wire account expired in 2005, it has been renewed automatically for two years at no charge. This should allow you ample time to retrieve artifacts from that system.
