Mission Statement

The Office of Student Academic Services serves and supports the preparation of pre-service teachers at the undergraduate and post-baccalaureate levels. The Office implements in partnership with other departments, the College of Education’s policies and procedures regarding student recruitment, admissions, advising and retention as the basis for successful program completion and graduation.

The Office collaborates with faculty members and other Student Academic Services units at the University of Hawai‘i and establishes relationships with constituencies with business and professional communities, including the Hawai‘i State Department of Education.
