COE Computer Labs & Software Policies

COE policies on instructional lab use, software acquisition, wireless networks, and non-supported software are located here. Accordingly, TDP software recommendations and non-support list occurs below:

Instructional Computing Labs

The College maintains four wireless, mobile instructional labs. These labs consist of Apple iBook, Compaq Evo and Dell Latitude laptop computers, wireless networking, and associate peripherals. Students should come prepared to use recordable CD-Rs for file storage or USB storage devices. Available instructional software includes:

Other Technology and Distance Education Resources

The Outreach and Technology office advises the College on acquisition and maintenance of resources.

Examples: Elluminate web conferencing, Tegrity Weblearner system and server, Polycom videoconference room redesign, HITS receive sites at West Hawaii, Kauai, Molokai, Lanai; PPST online resources, Praxis online resources; assessment system and electronic portfolio tools.
