This project is designed to address the need for teachers in the Hawai’i Department of Education, particularly in the areas of math and science secondary education. CTC is funded by the U.S. Department of Education, Teacher Quality Enhancement Recruitment Program, grant #P336C070002.

Newsflash
KHNL aired a two-part story on May 15th and 16th. The story tells how the College of Education is addressing teacher workforce development in Hawai‘i. Our project, the Get FIT project, current and graduating students, as well as a teacher from one of our PSAs were all featured in the story.
