Welcome to Manoa Partnerships

Student Engagement - for Learning, for Life

Manoa Partnerships, a program in the College of Education at the University of Hawaii, supports projects that help students make a life, not just a living.  The Manoa Partnerships program provides opportunities for students to collaborate with each other, with faculty, with K-12 schools, and with the wider community for purposes of connecting learning to life.

When students learn how to evaluate, assess, and connect, information is transformed into knowledge.  And knowledge is only useful when it contributes to the communities in which we live.  The provision of applied educational experiences, including service learning, is imperative for the future of education.
