This website presents information about many of the plants of the Marshall Islands and their uses by the Marshallese people. The information was originally produced as an environmental education book for students, teachers, and resource managers in the Marshall Islands. This Website is geared toward the younger generation interested in the Marshall Islands. We hope you will find it useful and admire the great body of knowledge that the Marshallese people have developed over many hundreds of years in their atolls in the tropical Pacific region. We have used the new orthography for Marshallese words on this site.
