Kolokesa Uafā Māhina

Kolokesa Uafā Māhina gained her BA degree, with a double major in art history and anthropology, from the University of Auckland and her MA in museum and heritage studies from Victoria University of Wellington. Kolokesa is currently working as the Curator of Pacific Cultures at the Museum of New Zealand Te Papa Tongarewa.  Her area of research interests is the tangible and intangible heritage of the Pacific, with a specific focus on Tonga.

Kolokesa is also curating the Pacific dance costume exhibition at the Museum of New Zealand Te Papa Tongarewa during the Culture Moves! conference.
