Richard Moyle

Richard Moyle is Associate-Professor of Ethnomusicology and Director of the Archive of Māori and Pacific Music, at the University of Auckland, where he teaches papers in both Pacific and Aboriginal Australian music. He has undertaken some ten years of fieldwork in the Pacific (Sāmoa, Tonga, Lau, Cook Islands, Niue) and Aboriginal Australia over a 40-year period, and is the author of 14 books, the latest being Songs from the Second Float: A Musical Ethnography of Takü, Papua New Guinea (University of Hawaii Press).
