RAPA Dance Collective is comprised of 10 Dance Major students studying within the Bachelor of Maori Performing Arts programme at Te Wananga o Aotearoa, Manukau Campus, Auckland.
The choreographic work that WE explore is associated with the environment in which we study, live and create i.e. South Auckland. It also draws upon our Polynesian and Palagi ethnic backgrounds and how we can use both traditional and modern dance as a vehicle to express ourselves in this contemporary world.
We will present three works:
