Amy Ku'uleialoha Stillman
Amy Ku'uleialoha Stillman, born and raised in Honolulu, Hawai'i, is Associate Professor of American Culture, and Director of Asian/Pacific Islander American Studies at the University of Michigan. Dr Stillman is the author of Sacred Hula: The Historical Hula 'Ala'apapa, and more than twenty articles on Polynesian music and dance traditions (particularly Hawai'i and Tahiti). She is also actively involved in community projects and advocacy among the Hawaiian and Pacific Islander communities in southern California.
