Friends of the Cancer Research Center of
Hawaii
Mission Statement
The mission of
the Friends of the Cancer Research Center of Hawaii is to work to reduce
cancer-related death and suffering by promoting community support for cancer
research and education.
Organization
Description
The Friends organization is a 501(c)3 non-profit
corporation that raises funds and coordinates fund raising efforts
in the community to support cancer research through the Cancer Research Center
of Hawaii.
Cancer is a disease that touches all of us. Many of us know
someone who is battling cancer right now, or someone who sadly, has fought
this dreaded disease and lost. It is for them that the Friends are here.
It is for them that we will continue to support the important work of the Cancer
Research Center of Hawaii with financial help and other assistance.
The Friends respond to and fulfill the Cancer Research Center's need
for private funds to supplement federal and state resources. Throughout the
year
friendship drives are conducted to give people like you the opportunity to
play a vital role in the fight against cancer. Please support the Cancer Research
Center of Hawaii by making a generous, tax-deductible contribution to the Friends now—Working together we will find the
cure.
