    Attendees: Representatives from the Hawaii Ground Golf Association: Mr. Gilbert Oki, Mr. & Mrs. Mike Ozama, Mr. & Mrs. Yukio Saito, and Mr. & Mrs. Kats Wakatsuki
    Representatives from CRDG and ULS: Mr. Fred Birkett, Ms. Janet Allen, Mr. James Bukes, Mr. Ricardo Lorenzana, Ms. Jean Sakihara, and Dr. Donald Young.

    On May 6, 2008, Dr. Donald Young, CRDG Director, and Fred Birkett, University Laboratory School Principal, presented appreciation certificates to the Hawaii Ground Golf Association and the Nonoichi-machi Ground Golf Association in Japan for their generous donation of 25 sets of ground golf equipment and teaching lessons to the University Laboratory School (ULS). Thanks to the support from these two ground golf associations, the ULS 4th-6th graders will start their very first ground golf lesson in fall 2008.
