Event: The Makery Cloud

Location 02: UH Manoa College of Education Makery, July 19 - 23, 2010 plus 5 one-day workshops (dates to be set)
Description: The Makery professional development course will prepare teachers to incorporate hands-on design and build activities into regular classroom activities. Activities include learning to use a tabletop Computer Numerically Controlled (CNC) milling machine that can create designed objects out of wood, plastic, or non-ferrous metals.
Partnership: These courses are presented in partnership with the Hawaii Charter Schools STEM Consortium, the Hawaii Charter Schools Administrative Office, and NSF funded EAGER and EPSCoR grants.
